E-waste Initiative Kenya (EWIK) is a registered NGO, founded in 2012 and officially recognized by the NGO Coordination Board of Kenya in 2016 (Registration Number OP.218/051/16-106/10335). Headquartered in Gitithia, Kiambu, with branches in Nairobi, we specialize in comprehensive electronic waste management. Our services encompass the entire e-waste lifecycle , including training, collection, processing, and safe disposal, while promoting environmental sustainability and youth empowerment through skill development. We are committed to creating a circular economy by addressing electronic waste challenges in Kenya and beyond

Technical Empowerment
This program increases employability and self-employment for recycling entrepreneurs, youth, women, and retirees.
Waste Collection Program
We provide a collection point for every waste generated in the country.
Public Awareness
We cover how to segregate municipal waste at source benefits, public health, and environmental aspects.
Recycling Program
We create an enabling environment for the informal sector involvement in the management of e-waste.
Occupational Health and Safety
We train people to manage e-waste safely while sustaining employment for them.
